Optikal Dubs Records returns with their new release, Revival Vol. 2, featuring Venezuelan producers Kaith, Pain, Spel and Qedamawi. The release is the second installment in the Revival EP series, a compilation of latin american bass music to celebrate the label's return this year. This time around, the release policy is strictly in the realm of jungle, drums and bass.

KAITH. Argentina based, Venezuelan producer. Begins the release with an excellent liquid funk drum and bass track entitled “Ushuaia”. A tune with harmonically well crafted keyboard parts, guitar arrangements, round drums, and a deep bass line that consolidates the soulful journey throughout the track.

PAIN. Argentina based, Venezuelan producer. Presents “Hold”, a forceful deep drum and bass track, with solid rhythms, bass lines and “reese” cuts characterizing the sound of this promising producer, which will give much to talk about in the Latin American bass scene from now on.

SPEL. Colombia based, Venezuelan producer. Arrives with “Seconds”, a track that explores jungle paths. Cutting and piercing rhythms that are united with a huge sub-bass line consolidate the sound of this producer, who is also mc and a key piece for the bass movement in the region.

QEDAMAWI. Colombia based, Venezuelan producer. Closes the release with his track “Confidential K”. A mysterious intro precedes a track full of drums, high-speed percussion and a super deep bass, which honors the detailed sound of this multifaceted bass producer.
